It’s all systems go for the third Hong Kong Jewelry Industry Outstanding Achievement Award. Presented by the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (HKJMA), the awards is aimed at honouring the industry’s most outstanding and dedicated jewellers.
According to the organiser, the awards recognises industry players who, over the course of their distinguished careers, have made extraordinary contributions to the local jewellery industry. Nominations will be accepted until August 24.
Benny Do, chairman of HKJMA, commented, “The Hong Kong Jewelry Industry Outstanding Achievement Award is held with the highest regard in the local jewellery industry. It aims to recognise individuals with outstanding achievements and extraordinary contributions to the industry while serving a greater purpose of advocating sustainability.”
In another development, HKJMA announced the release of a book in celebration of its 30th anniversary, titled 《珍飾 鑲傳》 香江珠寶印記 (only available in Chinese).
“This new book shines the light on half a decade of developments in Hong Kong’s jewellery industry. We hope to bring in youngsters who will lead the industry to a better future,” said Bronia Yip, chairman of the 30th Anniversary Organizing Committee of HKJMA.
